Diljit Dosanjh REACTS to Punjab ’95 facing delays in release; says, “Aaj nahi te kal…”

Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh’s film Punjab 95 (Panjab ’95) has faced several delays in its release. Recently, the actor hinted that the film will be released soon. The censor board had recommended that Panjab 95’s producers make 120 edits because of the film’s delicate theme. The life of activist Jaswant Singh Khalra served as the inspiration for the movie.

Diljit Dosanjh took to Instagram and shared a story in which he is seen in his character look. Sharing the image, he wrote, “Today or tomorrow, the truth will finally come out. No one can stop this truth from unfolding. I have faith that with divine blessings, a way will be found and this story will be shared with the world.”

The film was initially scheduled to be released internationally on February 7. However, the release has been postponed, with a new date yet to be announced.

The much-anticipated film Punjab 95 would depict Khalra’s life prior to his terrible kidnapping, torture, and murder at the hands of the police. Due to their involvement in the crime, at least six officers had been charged.
